British actor Alan Rickman, who played Professor Snape in the “Harry Potter” films and Bruce Willis’ adversary in "Die Hard," has died, his agent confirmed to NBC News. He was 69.

He was so good as Colonel Brandon. I'm sad.

So sad....I really liked his work esp. when he played bad guys. He was great in Die Hard and the only good thing the Costner's Prince of Thieves (Robin Hood).
