I put Alan Rickman in the same acting category as Philip Seymour Hoffman. They just brought something special to every role. Such losses.

NPR talked to Chris Columbus, who said that Mr Rickman was in character all the time on the Harry Potter set and poor tiny Daniel Radcliffe was scared of him for the first few days. I sort of love that.
