Didn't this happen well after (months and maybe even closer to a year after) JonBenet was killed? And wasn't the girl who was attacked in her room 14 years old? There are very few details about that case which is surprising. I don't know if they ever found a suspect or not. |
Bill McReynolds said- Almost everyone has written stories about me- the Denver papers, the tabloids, and even CNN. I've been on lots of tv shows. It's too late. There's nothing I can do about it. Lots of people think that I killed JonBenet, that Santa killed an angel.
He also said - Looking back, I always thought that if anyone wanted to do major damage to this family, they could do it at Christmas because they all adored Christmas. Janet McReynolds wrote a play about a girl being sexually assaulted in a basement. She bragged about the award she won for it but when the police wanted a copy of it she would not give them one. Their own daughter was kidnapped with a friend on the same day December 26, twenty-two years prior to JB being killed. Mysteriously only the friend was molested and their daughter was made to watch. The perp was never found. Janet also was a movie reviewer for the Daily Camera at one time. The ransom note had many movie line references. And she just recently did a reading of poetry at her retirement home. The collection is called - Terminal Angel. |
They did, and concluded there was no evidence to support the intruder theory. |
^^becauar they were inept at investigating. There was ton of evidence they were too stupid to follow up on. They should stick with traffic fines and leave real detective work to bigger departments with smarter cops. |
Patsy said in her 1996 Christmas letter that she had been outside the Today show and was on camera for a few seconds. After Jon Benet died Bill McReynolds (creepy Santa) showed up outside the Today show trying to get on camera rambling about him being Santa and JB. |
It is the family for sure. Exactly what happens will probably never be known. It's most likely: 1) Burke accidentally kills the sister and the parents cover up with the fake ransom note. There was a book written about this theory or 2) The father John kills JB and does most of the staging himself and the mom discovers the ransom note and calls. There is a blog written about this theory that is interesting.
I think with this new CBS series that is coming out, more information will come out that will point to the family, even some that may have been under wraps before. It will be interesting. See how much time and energy were devoted to the Serial case from Baltimore and then the Make a Murderer case after the miniseries came out on Netflix. New charges, charges dropped, etc. |
Where are you reading this? |
Google Bill McReynolds letter daily camera. The letter the he wrote to the daily camera had similarities to the ransom note |
Ok I did. http://web.dailycamera.com/extra/ramsey/1998/915mcr.html What are the similarities you speak of??? |
The letters start off with the same tone using "We". Demanding attention. Both used the word scrutiny. That is a slip. Also he praised the detective that had turned the investigation away from him. |
Will anyone be watching the upcoming 3 documentary/ specials on JonBenet ? The first one starts tonight on a & e
