If she lies about the obvious cognitive decline of Joe, imagine what she will do once in the Oval Office

I guess I’d be more concerned that my candidate was a convicted felon w three baby mamas.

But now because we are unfortunately stuck with Harris, we democrats have to gaslight ourselves and others into thinking that these populist word salads are acceptable. A shame.

And Romney too. It wasn't that long ago that there was an expectation that presidential candidates would generally be informed, competent, and decent human beings.

Now we have Donald Trump, an abomination. And due to the colossal arrogance of Joe Biden and his family - Jill and Hunter - we are in the strange situation where mediocrity gets to fall upwards. Democrats have a lot of talent, but none of them can run for president because of what the Bidens did. Instead, we have two months of fingers-crossed Harris can maintain some basic coherence when speaking without a teleprompter. And in the meantime we all need to pretend she's some awesome, historic candidate that will lead America out of the wilderness.

It's a farce. Even children recognize there are moments in a game when you need a do-over.

So you think someone who was a prosecutor, an AG of a top 5 city in the US and a two term senator is mediocre?

She doesn't do well off the cuff. She's not quick on her feet. Perhaps she lacks confidence. Or she doesn't feel familiar enough with the material to offer an informed opinion. When she did run for president in 2020 in a crowded field, she didn't even make it to Iowa.

Of course, she's better than Trump. But Biden messed up everything by making it impossible to have a free and competitive primary process in a very important election year. National campaigns cull a lot of potentially good candidates on paper - like Kamala Harris in 2020. Democrats have a good bench in 2024. And we didn't get a chance to hear from any of them because of Biden. We're just left to hope Harris doesn't screw it up. And hope is never a good plan.

Concern troll is very concerned.

All the trolls and bots all are now going to turn to going on and on about how she is going to collapse in the debate.

She may do amazing, she will jot do less than fine.

You candidate, on the other hand, is a time
Bomb.

All I can say is I am looking forward to it. Cannot wait to see the crap you try and fling the morning after. The crazier it is the worse he did.

So happy to be on the side of the normal candidate.

Why is everyone who did not like her perfomance is a bot or troll? I will be voting for her (no choice) but she did very poorly.

It is not everyone, it is the extreme responses that she flailed or having Walz was a crutch, looked at noted constantly, was incoherent, etc. that is objectively not true. An exaggeration. Some people may well not like her many people will definitely not vote for her.

I support her AND I try to stay tethered to reality.

So yes, if you continue to contend she cannot speak in complete sentences I will assume you are not also tethered to reality and a troll.

MAGAs are reaching here. They have no idea what else to criticize. They are desperate.

When asked a about high costs last night...

Dana Bash: "You've been VP for 3 and a half years. Why didn't you do this?"

Kamala: "We brought inflation down"

She's a walking Trump ad!

Savannah

They bused in the crowd from Atlanta.

Sure they did dummy, just a four-and-a-half-hour drive away!

They did.

The local news reported widely on this.

Was it the lamestream media? Fake news! MAGA!

No it was the local news station. WJCL.

they interviewed people on the busses.

That defeats the purpose. I thought they were trying to get the Savannah voters

She's got the Savannah voters in my family.

Mine as well. And they are a retired military family.

Please be careful here. Savannah is a term used in the American south to categorize an African American’s skin tone- a lighter tone like Kamala. I am sure you didn’t mean it that way but what you said is triggering to African Americans from the south.

It's also a city in GA where the Vice President spoke to 9,500 people yesterday.

The arena has a capacity of 9,500, but they didn't fill it. They had to put up curtains to cover areas of open seats.

The mainstream media is so vapid. It's like they're performing for each other. They clamor for policies and demand an interview, and then they ask superficial questions that don't delve into policies and how they effect Americans.

It's all some variant of "respond to these bad faith Republican attacks on you." Does *anybody* (other than the media corporations) derive value out of these things?

+1. Her campaign has to be incredibly nervous about September 10. She’s going to be all over the place with 90 minutes to fill and with muted mics. Hopefully the moderator will offer some potential answers for her baked into the questions like Dana did last night.

I don’t understand people who think this. Did no one watch her debate with Pence?

Wait so lying is a disqualification for office?

Trump’s false or misleading claims total 30,573 over 4 years
When The Washington Post Fact Checker team first started cataloguing President Donald Trump’s false or misleading claims, we recorded 492 suspect claims in the first 100 days of his presidency. On Nov. 2 alone, the day before the 2020 vote, Trump made 503 false or misleading claims as he barnstormed across the country in a desperate effort to win reelection.
This astonishing jump in falsehoods is the story of Trump’s tumultuous reign. By the end of his term, Trump had accumulated 30,573 untruths during his presidency — averaging about 21 erroneous claims a day.[/quote]

You must be so set with Trump but you aren’t? Why is that?
