Good question. It it's strapless maybe she was changing into another outfit? Anyone know? If it is not strapless it fits terribly. I'm a 32 B and never wear strapless because they look terrible in general. Now I know to A) get cups sewn in or B) just find outfits you can wear a bra under... I usually choose B |
Another member of the itty bitty titty committee here. When there’s nothing to hold up, they aren’t uncomfortable. I used to wear one every single day. The bras with straps used to me look weird - either too padded or not padded enough. There’s much better options on the market now. |
I see, I see… not needing straps… it sounds glorious! I will never know what that feels like 😭 |
Every day? Even when your arms are covered? Why? My mind is blown. |
OK. Let's criticize cutouts as a fashion detail. https://www.altardstate.com/as/clothing/dresses/ Altar'd State loves that detail. Saw lots of that in a Bar Mitzvah party dress thread recos. Plus a church dress thread. But as shown on the website above, that style is avoidable. Ivanka was shown wearing a yellow dress with a heart cutout on a previous page. I think cutouts spoil the line of the dress and are hard to get properly placed on the frame. Which I think accounts for the odd pose in Ivanka's picture (trying to get the cutout to sit flat). |
If there's literally nothing to hold up, then cover nips with pasties (or not!) and call it a day. Strapless bras make the vast majority of breasts look weird. |
I have shopped with a teen and many dresses without cutouts were available. If you do not want to be discussed at 17 going on 18, then don’t take the stage and give a speech at the RNC. That’s usually for adults to do. |
I’m chuckling at what you wrote for your “resume” as reasons why we should listen to you. Okay, you insulted Usha’s shoes, so we should all listen to you now. So funny! Cutouts looked silly and bad. |
Ivanka looks like a ventriloquist’s dummy. |
It can’t be coincidence that they went with the two colors most strongly associated with the Handmaid’s Tale. |
+1 This is blowing my mind. |
That is not energy well spent |
It looks like she aged 10 years |
I agree that it's fine for a teenager. I do NOT agree that it's fine to put a teenager up to make a speech in this kind of a thing. (Unless you're someone like Greta T., who is seeking that out for herself.) I know she supposedly volunteered for this, but as a parent I would say "Thanks, honey, but this isn't your job." Once you put her up to speak at the RNC, I think she ceases to be a teenage kid or grandkid of a candidate, and becomes a public speaker who is open to criticism. You can't have it both ways, so why would you do that to your teen? Also weird that Barron, who is the over-18 child of the candidate, did not speak, but the under-18 granddaughter did. |
Ivanka is getting a mask face. |
