One thing is for certain. These publics are sending kids to Ivy’s and top schools. What about Thomas Jefferson?

Yes, not only that but according to them they aren’t kids of privilege who haven’t paid through the nose with SAT prep, extracurriculars and “packaging”!!!

A lot of jealous non W school families commenting here. Quite entertaining to witness here on the private school forum.

What are W schools parents doing commenting on this thread? Justifying their existence?

Whose idea was it to add public school links?

It's a private and independent school thread. On purpose.

Right. And their results are being compared with those of public schools.

You cannot compare. If the stats show that private school results are better than public school results, then the peanut gallery screams that everyone actually was accepted to Harvard, but they can't afford to go. So they are all forced to go to Towson.

Whose idea was it to have an anonymous forum on the internet where just anyone can read and post?

More like triggering insecure private school parents who need to justify their decisions

Assuming 45k per year at a k-12 (13 years) you are spending $585,000.00. (I'm not including opportunity cost of not investing that money elsewhere.). For that kind of $$ people want a noticeable difference in college matriculations in private vs public.

What exactly are you proud of. I am seeing 1 Harvard admit among the 28 kids posting in the instagram page, out of a total of 552!

The justification is found when you compare admissions stats between top privates and top publics. The percentage of private school students admitted to Ivies and top 25 schools is dramatically higher than the percentage admitted blow from top publics.

I’ll share two articles for those public school parents who are still in denial:
