You’re right. We should institute Jewish and Muslim prayer into your public school immediately.

Our DD attended a Muslim school. They prayed and celebrated holidays. It was a wonderful place. I'd rather be with them than atheists.

Sure you would be but would the Bible Belt allow that?

I'd love Christian prayer too! But I don't live in the "Bible belt," wherever that is.

Geez...

cats > dogs

babies > most adults

Agree on cats; babies are fine but I think adults are better than toddlers. I’m sad no one fought me on:

Gif is pronounced gift without the t

Mustard is gross

I guess I’m less controversial than I thought.

Getting a driver's license should be much, much, MUCH more difficult than it is. Too many people who don't know how to stay in their lane, don't know what lane they should be in, distracted or zoned out, and a danger to themselves and others.

You really don’t know the term “Bible Belt”? We’re you born in the US?

Agree! Also having separate bathrooms is helpful.

There would be less divorces this way

It’s not true and been studied.

Because women easily get laid and men just get more frustrated that they neither get it at home nor out of the home or their once a month person get too serious/crazy. If they try to make it not 1 person go back to point #1.

My friend designed a master bedroom with 2 bathrooms.

I've heard the term before, a lot on here in the context of liberal hate, but couldn't circle it on a map. I'm a 4th gen Washingtonian. Are you from this mythical rural paradise?

Marriages should make room for the occasional affair.

Former Christian/current atheist. My controversial opinion (that I keep to myself thanks to people like you) is that there’s too much religious influence in this country and that the most outspoken Christians tend to be the least Christ like.

Yes!!

And provide evidence of financial viability and stability. Not saying you need to be rich or even middle class. But you need a stable job and a decent apartment that you pay for yourself, and with enough of a buffer to also pay for childcare.

This is a terrifying opinion. The government should be in charge of who can and can’t have children. That’s what you’re saying.

Sorry, I don't want my tax dollars paying into subsidized housing, WIC, subsidized child care, food stamps, heating and cooling, etc. all because some poor lady wanted babies.

They already are, though

Yeah I know. Which is why I said what I said. People should have to pay for their own offspring and not foist in upon taxayers.

Do you also think only people with superior intelligence, blue eyes and blond hair should have children and everyone else should be sterilized?

Nope. I just don’t think people should ask for a handout to pay for their own children. Anyone can have kids…as long as they don’t expect the government to support them.

Why not? My tax dollars support stuff you so that doesn’t benefit me at all. This is the cost of living in a society that provides services.

Also what happens to somebody who gets pregnant but doesn’t have what you consider enough money?

Did you even read the original thread i was replying to? That poster advocated required BC.

Right but unless you’re surgically sterilizing someone against their will you can’t prevent someone from getting pregnant. As I said earlier, IUDs are easy to remove yourself. You could cut out an implant in your arm. Also birth control just fails sometimes; so what happens when these people get pregnant against the government’s will?

If you purposefully remove your iud or cut out your Norplant, you’re on your own. No gov’t help for you. It’s called personal responsibility. Which in this day and age has apparently gone the way of the dodo.

Birth control failing? Now that’s a sticky wicket. I’m not sure about that one.

BC fails then thats on the person who chose to have the privilege of sex. Its not up to one person. Girl on BC, guy can still wear a condom. I doubt both fail. They pay for the kid or put up for adoption.

Schools are as guilty as parents for making ADHD harder to manage by giving teachers pre-fab, easy, and boring lessons and then giving kids screen time all day long. The same administrators complain if parents allow screens at home.

When building a new home, make the kitchen the largest room in the house! It’s where everyone ends up when we entertain!

Elderly people (not sure which age to start) should take a refresher road test to get their DL renewed. They are a danger to themselves and others!
