| I kinda of love this pillow - http://www.garnethill.com/bohemian-animal-pillows/398361?&defattribvalue=main - the blue dog one. Can I pull it off in a living room? I think my style is sort of modern and or whimsical. How can I use this pillow but still have the room look stylish and not silly? |
| Anyone? Is this just too silly to put in one's living room? What would coordinate with it to make it otherwise look pulled together? |
It's just one throw pillow, right? If it makes you happy, get it! I do think it's cute. Just don't do the rest of the living room in a dog theme and you'll be fine
|
| It's in a children's room for a reason lady . |
| So cute! I love it when people have something unexpected like that in their living rooms. |
Thank you! That's kind of what I was going for, but then I get kind of discouraged and don't quite know how to pull it off by thinking similar things to "they showed it in a kid's room" per the poster above. How to make it still grown up but fun? |
Why are you worrying so much about what others think? It's your living room, and you're the one who will be living with it. If you like it, then buy it. If someone comes by and tells you they think it's silly, don't invite that person over anymore. |
| Honestly, just get the pillow if you love it! It's not permanent, it can always be changed out. You'll be the one looking at it every day, so get what makes you happy. |

Only if your living room looks like this. |

+1 |
| That pillow can look eclectic but don't expect stylish. Sorry, it is pretty awful. |
+1 You can do solids/simple patterns for the other pillows. Pull colors of the pillows. Blues, golds, etc. |
| I love it. |
| They are accent pillows and look lovely. You can dot them around amongst other more mundane pillows and they'll look great. |
