Honestly, that's pretty awful, but it's your home and you should buy what you like. You can always switch out the pillow when people come over.

Why switch it out when people come over? Is it offensive? Just because it's not your taste does not mean it's so awful that it should be hidden when company arrives. Give me a break.

It has great colors for a living room - rich blues and golds, a pop of pink. I think it would look great.

The OP is clearly questioning the suitability of an informal, playful pillow on the livingroom sofa. What I meant was that the OP could change out the pillow if she felt uncomfortable with guests seeing the pillow when they come over. Personally, I probably wouldn't do that and I'm not especially recommending that she do it; but she does have that option. Geesh.
