| Ftr this isn't about me, it's about a friend. Husband has asked for a divorce and she is trying to change his mind. She has stuck by him through several affairs, and is convinced he wants to leave her for another woman. |

| I let her vent. Our other friends have told her to leave and she has eventually ended the friendship. He was cheating with several women now it's one. She called the woman and found out its been going on for a few years. He says he ended it, but he disappears for hours at a time. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out he's still cheating. |

I think she doesn't want to be divorced. She likes to talk about how long she's been married. That and she has a cushy life. |

You know, I did this actually by being very level headed and calm about the situation. It meant that he had grave second thoughts as he wasn't leaving some kind of emotional wreckage. But he then left about 4 years later anyway and it was SO much worse.
