Never received the package Amazon says it delivered. What now?

According to Amazon, they left a package at my door but I never got it. Has anyone had this happen and did Amazon replace it?

They replace or refund. I've never had issues with their customer service.

Check your mailbox or by your garage door just in case though.

Yes, I contacted Amazon and they immediately refunded the cost and I ordered it again. This was for a fairly low cost item; I don't know if it would have been harder for a more expensive item.

Yes. Contact amazon. They will refund or replace (assuming this doesn't happen with you all the time)

Sometimes they mark it as delivered, but it arrives a few hours later. It has happened to me a couple of times with USPS and lasership. Once Lasership reported my package delivered, and it arrived 1 week later.

Contact their customer service. They will usually tell you to wait for a day. I have had USPS packages marked 'delivered' which show up the next day.
Amazon will refund if the package is truly lost. And they gave me a free month on my Prime membership for the delayed package.

It is amazing more packages don't go missing. I drive up my street everyday and see packages in front of so many homes.

This. Has happened to me twice. Once at home. Once at work. The work package turned up days later and Amazon said to just keep the duplicate book.

If its Lasership they probably just lied about having delivered it. Happens all the time. You may still get your package.

This has happened to me twice. Call Amazon and they send you a replacement.

It is a problem nationwide with the uptick in online shopping esp around the holidays. Saw a special on it and apparently certain police departments are planting packages on front porches and then watching the homes and arresting the thieves.
