Arabic middle name for Noah?.

Anonymous
Looking for ideas. My dh is Kuwaiti and we want to go with an Arabic middle name. We don't want to use anyone's name on his side. Looking for ideas. I like Zayn but I'm thinking to use this if I have another boy. Surname name starts with Ha . Maybe a vowel name would work best?

Zayn and Zade.
Noah Malik
Noah Awad
Noah Amir
Noah Qays
Noah Jameel
Noah Elias (pronounced elyas) but that's a christian name

I'd choose either a one syllable name (Noah Zayn is great, but I understand why you'd want to save it) or a long one like Noah Abdurahim or Noah Mubarak. Although I might make an exception for Noah Suhail or Noah Nooruddin, because I really love Suhail and Nooruddin.

I think Noah Ibrahim sounds nice.

Where are the "Noah is typically a Jewish first name" comments?

Ok, I'll say it. OP- I know 5 Noah's and they are Jewish. I realize it is a biblical name and that Muslims do recognize parts of the Old Testament but people may make assumptions about your child or ask questions.

^ Who cares? Noah/Nuh is a Prophet in Islam as well.

Also, where does OP say she wants a "Muslim" name?

I like Qays mostly because the letter Q is very cool to have in a name.

I also like Ismail. Cool name, sounds good with Noah.

Yes. I don't like any. I may just have to go with an american middle. Noah and the surname will be Arabic enough.
