My parents are hosting the son of an old friend of my mom, and I have developed a crush and I'm embarrassed as I'm too old for this type of thing.
Things I have done this afternoon that are embarrassing:

1. Been caught staring at him mouth open while daydreaming about kissing him.
2. Volunteered to wash dishes just to spend 1:1 time with him.
3. twirled my hair and giggled.
4. Drew attention to myself with a really stupid joke at dinner just to hear him laugh.
5. Switched my seat at dinner under false pretenses just to sit closer to him.

I am ashamed, but not enough to stop thinking about his pretty blue eyes, his cute accent, how good he smelled, and other thoughts.
