I know a couple of people who married children of their parent's friends. All have amazing marriages. You go, OP!

31 and 32 Like I wrote I'm too old for this kind of thing

LOL you're not too old, hence why I asked your age and his. Perfect age for both of you. Go for it.

Hey OP, been watching Bridget Jones again, eh?

Is he showing signs of interest in you? Can you tell if it's mutual? If you're both single, there's no issue - enjoy it!

Is it possible your parents are hosting him on purpose hoping to set you up?

Atleast get a baby out of it, if not a relationship.

Go on, make it happen!

Ah, fond memories. Keep it up, OP!

Invite him out to show him around town under the guise of seeing the city from a local perspective. Totally legitimate suggestion. You get to spend more time with him and figure out if he's into you as well without putting yourself too far out there. Just don't invite your girlfriends or guy friends for that matter.

I yearn to have that feeling again for just 5 minutes.

I miss that feeling, too. Before you kiss someone for the first time, sigh. I actually dream about it sometimes, ha. Wouldn't trade my DH for the world, but we're long past our first kiss! ?
