Genuinely very sad. I hope she moves on from this obsession, for her sake and all of ours. |
This thread is full of posts about.. nothing. Yawn. |
Yep. I think it’s a wrap on this thread. Megs out here living her best life with the new baby while some folks can’t keep her name out their mouth. What else can be said at this point? |
Is she actually? Kind of weird that, a week into living her best life with the new baby, she and Harry were threatening to sue the BBC and his grandmother and who knows who else over the baby’s name (and issuing statements in the middle of the night CA time about it) if they were so happy. |
She’s not living her best life. She has a mentally ill man-child for a husband and she’s still pissed the BRF didn’t bow to her demands. |
I mean, living your best life and also wanting to correct the record are not mutually exclusive. |
+1 And a lot of people are married to people who have struggled with mental illness. None of us are perfect. Have some compassion. |
Doesn’t seem like they corrected anything, since the BBC is standing by its story and the Queen’s office refused to deny it when asked. It actually looks like they were trying to intimidate and generally pick a fight with a respected media outlet and Harry’s own family without actually having any receipts. Happy people, at least the kind I know, don’t really care to do that. |
This is the weirdest expression. Why is everyone saying it now out of the blue? I hear it everywhere, and it's weird. |
It's an AAVE thing. |
1997 called, people have been saying this for 20 years |
I only started hearing it in the past year. Constantly. |
DP - I don't understand what your point is. Are you trying to police how people speak? That turn of phrase has been around forever. |
I imagine it is so painful for Harry to have a dad who has essentially rejected him. I am not a huge fan of H&M because they come across as money greedy but the news that Charles plans to create a monarchy where he excludes Harry’s kids is terrible and feels racist. He may want a smaller monarchy but he only has two kids and their mother was killed in a horrific way. He has zero sensitivity. He should be trying to fix things instead of creating more space. A smarter person would say okay if you want the titles/security then you need to agree that they spend a certain amount of time in U.K. etc. |
They already registered the domain names for the second baby before the birth, which leads me to think that the story of them asking the queen as soon as she was born doesn’t line up. Harry stating he would have chosen a different name if the Queen wasn’t pleased doesn’t hold water - sounds like they were going ahead with the name full speed. |
