No. Vivek had a lot of support from the same people who are pro Russia. He stating it shows that. Trump was pro Israel because of Jared. Those two are not as close as they once were. If Trump decides to kick Israel to the curb all the republicans will follow. Just like with NATO and Afghanistan. |

All the arguments against helping the Ukrainians are the same for Israel. How could republicans justify pulling out of NATO and cutting funding for the Ukraine but still supporting Israel? No just a matter of time. If Trump wins look for the US to cut funding for Israel. |

What part of that is wrong, exactly? Armenia has been dealt a crappy set of cards, yes. Its geographical position virtually ensures that the West will never have a firm foothold there. Experience shows the West never helped Armenians when it mattered. Not in 1915 and certainly not now. Russia hasn't exactly been a terrific friend but Armenia's choices are between a sucky friend and no friends at all. And yes, Armenia's current foreign security alliances are insufficient but nothing will be sufficient to safeguard a tiny, poor, resource-free Christian state that borders Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran. My heart bleeds for the Armenians of Artsakh but their leadership has failed them by never regularizing the status of Artsakh after the 1994 victory and sitting on their ass while Azerbaijan nursed grievances, rearmed and grew richer and richer. What did they think was gonna happen? Capturing Azeri districts and evicting their residents, unleashing a refugee crisis upon Baku, hasn't been a particularly pukka sahib move, either. |

Yes. Apparently betrayed by junior Russian officers who sold the intel to Ukrainian intelligence. The strike decimated the Black Sea Fleet command structure - more than 30 officers killed. Nice hit by Storm Shadow missiles. Looking forward to seeing what the Ukrainians do with ATACMS. 190 mile range. It's going to be difficult for Russians to maintain supply depots, command structures, airfields, and troop concentrations anywhere in Crimea. We'll see how long the Kerch Bridge remains standing. |
