If your 2nd grader's school pictures came home bent at the bottom of her backpack

Who would you hold most responsible:

A. your ( usually pretty responsible ) 7 yo
B. her teacher
C. the picture company for not sliding a piece of cardboard in the envelope
D. No one, shit happens

C - my first grader's pictures came by mail. Seems like a recipe for crumpled pictures to send them by backpack.

How is this the teacher's fault?

If anyone, maybe C. It's really D.

I mean if anyone I guess the 2nd grader since presumably she's the one who shoved them in there but I'd probably not be terribly irritated.

You can resolve this by ordering online and have them mailed to you instead of through the school.

I think OP really wants to blame the teacher and is seeking permission to do so.

I bet if you called the company and asked nicely they'd send a new packet.

Yes.

OP, you can't blame the teacher for this, for many reasons.

Or go there in a low-cut blouse.

OP here. Not true at all. I'm mostly annoyed at my daughter. But I'm trying to be a "peaceful parent" and choose Option D. But really, a little piece of cardboard in the envelope would have solved the whole thing. Our elementary school did not offer the option to ship to home. My other child's preschool did, and her photos came FedEx with a nice strong piece of cardboard.
