Call the company and ask what they can do though. |
| My condolences to your children OP...I cannot imagine the hell they're going to go thru over the next several years with Mommie Dearest freaking out about every-single-little-thing. |
| Just call Lifetouch (or whoever) directly. I'm sure they'll gladly replace them/mail directly if you turn them back in. Don't they offer something like this for retakes anyway? |
If you had not prepaid for the photos, I bet you would have received the card that tells you how to order them online. They want your business so they don't necessarily advertise this option. But, trust me, it's there. |

E. Mom
I'd blame mom for not teaching kids that special or fragile things you don't want bent must be treated with extra care. But really, after too many (ok, 1 in 100) framable art projects came home rolled up and bent, I taught the kids to keep that stuff flat and out of their backpacks if necessary. As for school pics, I guess that we've probably had 50 sets come home from schools over the years - I don't recall any being bent or any having cardboard. |

F. Common Core.
Paying attention to those dangnabbit standards has dumbed down our crucial school photo packing knowledge, OP. Clearly, you can't afford a private where this nonsense never would have happened. Your DD's only hope now is a two year school and a future "career" in online customer service. |
| A/D. But the extent of the blame I would place on my 2nd grader would be to roll my eyes and sigh. I wouldn't get on his case about it. |
| C because I was also annoyed but really D. Our package was also bent. No wonder since it was crammed with a bunch of papers, lunchbox and his after school care clothes. I can't expect a 7 year old to keep them perfect and it would have been impossible. |
| C or D but blame will not fix the situation. Just order some more pictures and if you're nice over the phone, they might not even charge you. |
| Ours came home smooshed at the bottom of her backpack...on a rainy day no less. I was annoyed but don't actually do anything with the school pics, other than use them when we are asked for a pic of the kids for their camp applications, etc. I always just throw them in a drawer. |

I hope not |
| Blame your child. The teacher probably told the kids to put them in their take home folder. I'm a teacher and I have the kids lay their folders on their desks and I put the envelope inside and they close it. I tell them they need to keep it flat just the way I put it in. If it gets wrinkled after that, oh well. I can't do everything. Call Lifetouch and get them replaced. |

While I do not blame the teacher, I am amazed at what they expect my son to put in his backpack and get home without harm, especially when he goes to extended day where kids step on each other's stuff. I was so happy that pictures were given out at the Halloween party day so I was there this year.

| I wouldn't blame anyone. However, I would send an email to the person organizing the photo and let them know this is problem. Call the company, I'm sure they will provide replacement print especially if you plan to buy them. |
