Diastasis recti safe exercises

Anonymous
Had baby #3 6 weeks ago and still have 20lbs and very flabby belly to deal with. Everything melted off with my 1st 2 very quickly, so no idea where to start. Would love to hear what exercises and cardio routines you ladies do at home! I have pretty bad diastasis recti so things like crunches are out.

Diastasis recti is the seperation of the stomach muscles. No exercise, i repeat.... NO EXERCISE will magically sew these stomach muscles back together. Live with it or get plastic surgery, which would basically be a tummy tuck.

Google the Tupler Technique. That will help.

I understand this. I just want some exercises that are not going to make it worse. I've had it since my first pregnancy, but still was back to prepregnancy weight without effort. The most exercise I have done in the last 6 years is walking kids to school and chasing them around. I would love to get back in shape and tone up, but don't know where to start.

Helene Byrne or Tupler initially.

Lindsey Brin or T-Tap for exercise videos

I think that DR can only be reparied bu surgery when it's a very large separation- I've had doctors say I can defintely lessen mine with exercise.
