DH used olive oil in the corn pudding by mistake

It calls for canola oil.

Do we have to toss it and make it all over again?

Try a tiny corner piece!

Should be good. You can pretend you meant to use olive oil because its fancy and stuff. Corn and olive oil go well.

Thanks. I am very irritated with him. We'll see how it tastes and decide from there.

It will probably be a lot better. Canola oil tastes like shit.

I suspect it might taste better

He did you a favor! Canola oil is highly toxic. Throw it out. Olive oil is healthy and will taste fine.

Yes I'm sure it tastes better! Let this one go OP!

Just because you read it on Joe Schmoe's health blog, doesn't mean it's true. Nobody is dropping dead from canola oil.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving give your DH a kiss and move on with life. Subbing out the canola oil is probably the best mistake he could have made.

Maybe try a tiny piece before getting irritated. You're overreacting a little. And then when you realize everything is ok, I hope You apologize to him

Chocolate cake? I'd be pissed. Corn pudding? I bet it adds a nice subtle flavor.
