1. Is LS dead as they say?
2. And is NVA destined for failure after next years even bigger stash of players leave for you know where?

None of the above. In fact, some age groups are very solid.

We have been with NVA since day one. We came from VRSC. I can guarantee you 100% that VRSC is not even aware of the freight train that’s going to pummel them this year.
I will add that NVA is not the panacea for youth soccer dreamers in NoVa, but at least I don’t get lied to or cheated in my face like when we helped build Revolution when they started in 2018.

The exact opposite is true. Nothing can stop what is coming.

I can not think of a single attacking/mid starter on the NVA 2011G team that is returning

Been playing youth soccer since 2015. Have never been to a LS match that didn’t end up in rowdy vulgar angry LS parents ruining the sideline experience for all involved. You can count on it.

What position do you play?

40 yardline chair squatter.

That explains your foolish comment, thanks.

Aligns with the ridiculous question of what position does op play.

Then I guess you either can either not write or read correctly. You said "been playing..." right?

Right before tryouts next year they will announce a strategic partnership between LS/NVA and merge into a single club to create a pathway for high level soccer.

VRSC and Loudoun United will do the same... LOL Virginia Revolution United FC is coming

+1 this is happening

Old news from the whole year. Some of those dads are absolutely insane and I wish we could blame it on them just being sloppy drunk all the time but it's not even that.

Age group?

If you don't know it didn't concern you and be happy that it doesn't.

OK, mom

LS/NVA soccer not good but they are definitely the only ethical club around.

LS/NVA and ethical should never be on the same sentence

That's not true. I can make a sentence that works: LS/NVA is not ethical.

What a godawful name. But, money is king so you gotta eat some turds with your new name and the 5K tag to get yelled by bozos

when your ID call ups are parent/politics driven and not the defenders/attackers that kept the team afloat during the season and previous seasons it creates a messy environment. Add GA announcement and to the mix and obviously families run for the hill. There was no loyalty. Now apply that same to all age groups.

It’s clear they didn’t account for the staggered md ecnl tryouts. Or players heading over to rev for fresh air. Enter franchise reboot. Speaking of which who is the new sponsor?

That's par for the course around here and guess what? Might as well just get used to it, you're not going to find much different anywhere else. Better off finding the best environment for your kid to play at and where they're happy because the rest of it will drive you crazy trying to understand.

Its as if youth soccer has turned into a bunch of clout chasing and the focus has gone away from where their DC is happy to play related to their level of skill.
