That's par for the course around here and guess what? Might as well just get used to it, you're not going to find much different anywhere else. Better off finding the best environment for your kid to play at and where they're happy because the rest of it will drive you crazy trying to understand.

Its as if youth soccer has turned into a bunch of clout chasing and the focus has gone away from where their DC is happy to play related to their level of skill.[/quote]
