ABC News interview TONIGHT with Biden

In a few weeks, people will only remember the lies that Trump told in the debate and how Biden ROCKED the ABC interview. If I were advising Joe, I’d take the massive win from the first debate (polling improvements, great grassroots fundraising) and not agree to do another debate with Trump. You’d have an off night too - Trump was screaming and lying every second during the debate with Biden - thank goodness they cut off his mic!

I remember trump fools whining that CNN was soft on Biden and poor trump is asked hard questions Now, they are quoting CNN left and right. I guess CNN is fair after all

Please show us a clip of Trump screaming during the debate. There are plenty of clips out there. Surely you can find one.

And, if Biden refuses the next debate....... he's toast. Well, he kind of is already.

Agree. Biden just wasn’t prepared for Trump’s dirty playing sucker punches and blaming him for everything in the world. It started when trump arrogantly wouldn’t shake Biden’s hand or even look at him when they came on stage. I am sure trump was coached on psychology warfare tactics from his Bannon, stone & other ex con buddies. He was getting even for when Biden won the debate that cost Trump the election. Most civilized people are decent, respectful, with normal social graces but have no clue on how to deal with a smarmy alley cat. It stunned Biden and it was hard to recover but he did.

I suspect the before and after hand shake thing was decided in advance by both sides, i.e. not to do them.

Come on - they didn't shake hands because Biden had a cold.

Biden didn't know he had a cold.

Of course he knew he had a cold. And right when he started talking during the debate it was obvious, he was clearly hoarse and full of congestion and phlegm and I kept yelling at the TV in vain, "drink some goddamn water, Joe!" Anyone who couldn't tell he had a cold needs to have their "armchair doctor" credentials yanked because they don't know a damn thing.

But I think the other problem is that Biden didn't want to cancel or postpone the debate over a cold, because that would have looked even worse.

If a cold caused such a poor performance at the debate then that's telling. A president still has to work with a cold. Biden is too old. His health has declined too much.

Some of us remember Trump huffing and puffing when he got out of the hospital from getting COVID, lying and pretending he was healthy as a horse. Trump has even more health problems than Biden - not just neurological decline but cardiac and other issues.

I remember him on a scooter in Europe when all the other world leaders were walking.

And with toilet paper on his shoe.

And playing like a child in a truck.

And afraid to walk down a ramp.

+1000. I remember interviews with Trump 15 years ago where he was articulate and had a robust vocabulary. Now Trump has the vocabulary of a 5th grader, constantly slurs words and gets words wrong and when he gets lost he just starts making random stories up or rambles incoherently. It's sad. Massive mental decline.

Because CNN, like the entire country, was shocked by the deterioration in Biden's mental and physical well-being. People saying it was just a cold are delusional. Biden is an elderly 81 year old who can no longer function and is clearly unfit to be president for another four years when he would be 86. Not even CNN commentators could hide their dismay at Biden's cognitive decline.

If you don’t think Trump was screaming at the debate, I can’t help you. America is not going to elect nasty Trump, especially when they have a decent man in Joe Biden. He answered every single question George threw at him, and he answered them all well. A true commander in chief!

He dodged and weaved about taking a cognitive medical exam and showing the American people the results. A president cannot do this, irrespective of age. That’s enough for this Independent to say no Fing way to a second Biden term.

When Joe Biden was asked in August 2020 whether he had taken a cognitive test, the 77-year-old presidential candidate interrupted a reporter and snapped, “Why the hell would I take a test?”

Since winning the White House, Biden has continued to dismiss the need for a cognitive exam, and aides have said he has never taken one as president — not in three annual physical exams, and not in the week since a halting debate performance raised more urgent questions about the now-81-year-old’s mental acuity.

Unlike some doctors to the president, Biden’s doctor has never gone behind the WH podium and answered questions from the press about Biden’s health.
