He is a stutterer - they often/always replace words because of how their brain and voice are wired. He was talking about the border (with Gaza) but the word "border" obviously triggered Mexico. It happens. So what.

Trump actually has the Presidential Records Act as an argument.
Biden does not have that argument - especially as a Senator since some of the classified material dates back to his Senate days.

Biden threw classified documents about the Afghanistan withdrawal by/on an old, broken down dog crate.


What the report includes:

The report covers what materials have been uncovered, what's known about how they were handled — going back to Biden's time as vice president — as well as the legal arguments around whether charges were appropriate.

There are photos of the boxes that contained classified materials, including one damaged box with documents about Afghanistan that was found in the garage of Biden's home in Delaware "near a collapsed dog crate, a dog bed, a Zappos box, an empty bucket, a broken lamp wrapped with duct tape, potting soil, and synthetic firewood."


The bulk of the report focuses on two types of classified materials — documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan; and notebooks that Biden used throughout his presidency for a combination of personal reflections, meeting notes and other writings.

Biden relied on his notebooks in particular while writing his memoir Promise Me, Dad, which was published in 2017 and reflects on the year his older son Beau died of cancer, two years earlier.

In conversations with his ghostwriter for the book, he read from those notebooks — and on at least three occasions shared classified material while doing so.

And he got away with it because they’ve decided he’s mentally incompetent

None of those arguments are substantiated by the Special Counsel's report. The findings were that there were no meaningful violations and that Biden fully cooperated, that Biden worked with the appropriate people immediately the second he became aware of anything potentially classified, and that all of his testimony to the Special Counsel was "clear and compelling" in the Counsel's own words as he summarized his findings - clear and compelling as in not the confusions of someone with dementia. And, the case is now closed. No amount of "yabut" from the peanut gallery of DCUM will change that.

And he could not remember when he was Vice President nor within years of when his son died. This is material because he decides if we go to nuclear war. I could care less about the f$cking documents.

And then he proved to the nation what Hur concluded in his report when he gave that disaster of a press conference where he confused the president of Mexico with the president of Egypt and could not remember where his son’s rosary came from.

So what? We could go around all day and all night cherrypicking and nitpicking every single Republican's misstatements too.

And don't even get us started on Trump's nonstop babble. He's WAY worse off mentally than Biden is. Unlike a Biden single word slip in a 45 minute speech, Trump will routinely go on for 3 or 4 minutes straight ranting incoherently.

This report reaffirms what we already knew about bumbling stumbling dementia Joe.

He’s been bumbling and stumbling his way through his term. The Biden regime is as incompetent as you can get. The fact he can’t remember the date of the death if his son, the dates he served at VP and the fact he kept TS SCI documents in his garage is one of the most egregious mishandling of our national security I’ve never seen. Anyone else would be locked up.

The documents and the fact he’s a walking vegetable isn’t even the scariest part - the fact he’s one heartbeat away from the nuclear button is the biggest scare. He’s literally one dementia episode away from getting us into WW3. It’s truly dangerous and congress needs to invoke the 25th.

If the evidence existed to prosecute, Hur would recommend doing so. And it doesn’t exist, so he’s not. But he’s claiming it’s because of Biden’s mental capacities rather than lack of evidence so that the GOP can: (1) cry foul when Trump gets prosecuted for his handling of classified documents, and (2) claim that Biden isn’t mentally fit to hold office and cannot be relected.

Actually the report cites lack of evidence. It is the right wing echo chamber that is latching on to the unprecedented and unwarranted observation about memory.

If Biden were the Republican candidate in this same scenario, after that report people would be absolutely apoplectic saying he needs to drop out immediately. It's a double standard, but, then again, most people in this forum have no issue with that.

What’s wild is that the conjecture in the report about Biden’s memory and mental faculties would never hold up in a court of law and likely be stricken from the record if the Hur made the same statement in open court. Hur is not a trained medical professional, no doctor was observing the interview on behalf of DoJ. To try to make some sort of diagnosis of the President is wildly unprofessional and way below an elite lawyer who is a partner at Gibson Dunn and went to Stanford Law.

The fact that this made it in the report issued by DoJ is insane. That’s how you know Hur is a nakedly Republican political operative.

Hur made no diagnosis.
He stated what he observed. And, he confirmed what we have all seen for 3 years now.
And, it has only gotten worse. And, it will continue to get worse. His issues will NOT improve.
