| How much candy are you going to allow on Halloween night? Do you plan to manage candy consumption afterwards, such as number of candy/day, etc.? How many? |
| As much as his little tummy will hold. He can learn a lesson like I did many years ago. It's fun! |

The 12yo is old enough to self regulate. She's underweight anyway. I just remind her to brush her teeth more often.
The 9yo gets more candy than her sister. It's a free for all Halloween night, then 1-2 pieces each day until it's gone. We've never done it before, but I'm thinking I might have the switch witch visit this year. |
If they are my kids they will only over dose the first couple days after that they stop eatting it |
nope and its only one time a year. |
The switch witch for a 9 and 12 yo?
|
I'd never heard of it before. Is this too old? Obviously they won't believe it's true but it sounds like a cute way to get rid of the candy. |
| I let them eat as much candy as they can for 2-3 days. anything remaining gets tossed/goes missing. We don't keep candy in the house and it rarely gets bought. |
| wtf is a switch witch? let me guess, it was a craft on pinterest. |
The switch witch is kind of like the tooth fairy -- comes in the night, takes the candy, and leaves a toy in exchange. |

When they were little, no more than 10.
As they got older it was a guideline but we did not regulate it. One child threw up after eating 20 pieces... I think he was 6 or 7. He literally turned green... I thought that was just a tv thing... But I saw it with my own eyes. |
Also we donate all but a bowl full and throw away anything still around at Christmas. |
That's what my son does. So I don't regulate. |
| As much as she wants on the first night and one piece a day after that. |
