Ugh sorry, I don't know why it pasted like that. But that popup has happened to me last night and tonight. |
Thanks. I'll start monitoring and see if I can identify the culprit.
|
It's happening on almost every page now.
|
I am emulating an iPhone with my desktop browser and capturing the traffic with a proxy server. But, I'm not getting any redirects. |
Omg i was just about to ask this. Its really annoying as it happens with every page. Always the game of war ad. |
Are you being redirected to the App Store or are you getting some sort of pop-up advertisement? I've been trying to reproduce this all day with no luck. Strange that you guys get it on every page. |
It is an ad. When you click close, it redirects you to another page but that wont work so it asks if you want to open it in an app. Im using my iphone. Even typing this post, it happened twice and im not touching anything different |
Our pages have five ad slots: 1 on top, 1 on bottom, 1 on the left, and 2 on the right. Is there any indication which slot this might be coming from? Can you see behind the ad? |
No indication that i am aware of. Just always the same ad. Nothing behind the ad when it pops up, just blank white screen. I can try to paste the link if it happens again |
I removed the script that you posted since it was so long. That is encoded. When I decoded it, it was an html page with a bunch of obfuscated javascript. The javascript relies of more javascript that is located on a CDN network. It reads that javascript and then calls a function. The parameters of the function are encoded and there are too many to bother decoding them all. However, there is no indication in the code of from where the code came or what ad it is trying to load.

Are you literally getting this on every page?
If so, I'll use a sniffer to capture your traffic from DCUM and maybe I can work from there. |
Yes,just about every page. No idea what prompts it to pop up |
Not OP, but I frequently get redirected from DCUM to the App Store for some stupid game. Presumably through some ad. Very annoying.
Maybe you should offer an ad-free, pay option. Still anon though. ![]() |
This only recently happened (today) for me. Not constant |
