Would you miss 1 week of school to go to Disney?

| In second? Sure. Try to schedule it over one of the four day weekends in January or February so your kid is only missing three school days. |

| We took ours for a week when they were in grades 1 and 4. Teachers put together a homework package ahead of time and our kids did that on the flight. No problem. I say yes, go and have a great time! |

| Definitely not. My parents never let me miss school unless I was seriously ill. I plan on being the same way with my kids. School should be their #1 priority and letting them miss it for something like Disney is sending them a message that education is not important. Also, I am a teacher and have noticed that kids just miss too much work if they are out for a whole week and that it is very stressful for them to make it up when they get back. |

| Depends a little on the kid but probably yes. Did it for my kids when they were in 1st and 3rd for a family trip ( not Disney but somewhat similar). |
