| I think we are all a little too close to find any realism, but I found the premiere totally entertaining. Anyone else? |
| Agree, I enjoyed it, and am intrigued. |

LOVED. IT.
I have so many questions already and can't wait for the next episode! That middle eastern woman - towards the end of the episode they showed her having another woman in her dorm room. I have visual perception problems and couldn't tell - is that woman supposed to be her twin? And it's weird that they had the Mormon kill himself instead of the Golden Boy who couldn't hack it. Can you imagine writing this? You would have to write out the whole season all at once. I would LOVE to watch that. |
| Okay, I've seen so many ads in the metro for this show that I figured it couldn't be any good but I have been hearing suggestions otherwise. You guys are also making me think I should check it out. |
Eh, I don't think it's that weird. He'd already shot the other woman in the room, held someone hostage at gunpoint, etc. He knew his career was wrecked and he was going to jail. Certainly not as unrealistic as being able to sneak a second person into FBI barracks without anyone noticing. I thought it was pretty bad, the flashbacks are better than the present day stuff. I'll keep watching for at least one more episode to see if it was just a shaky pilot. |
| I only saw a little bit but the montage at the end made it look like that Graceland show (hot agents, a traitor) but on the East Coast. |
| OP here. I was pretty surprised to see that several of the -what seemed to be- main characters introduced during the episode are no longer a part of it. I guess that is how they keep surprising us. And yes I think the middle eastern woman in her room, Nima, is supposed to be a twin. I find that bizarre. I found the interactions between the two in leadership - the middle aged guy and black woman in charge - to be pretty boring. The main character so far has been great. |
| Yikes! Spoilers! |
| I liked it. Really though you couldn't sneak a twin in. The main girl is great. I'll give it a go. Blood and oil is good too. |
| From what I've seen it looks NOTHING like Quantico and is the most unrealistic plot I've ever heard of....but I guess that's tv for you! |
| The main girl is really good and intriguing. She is also strikingly beautiful. |
This is definitely a show you have to suspend reality to watch. But so far I find it intriguing. |
|
1. the plot is ridiculous but intriguing
2. the lead is stunning and charismatic 3. the show will be cancelled and many of the loose ends will never be tied up |
| sadly, no one at Quantico is as good looking as these people. |
I think that's about the extent of the similarities. Graceland had a few good actors, but the cast was mostly chosen for it's looks not it's acting ability. The cast in Quantico had better acting all around. I've only seen the pilot, which yes, has more realism than some "cop/espionage" genre shows, but it's meant to entertain, so there's definitely elements where we're meant to suspend our belief. I too found it very entertaining. (I already suspect the nerd as the mole.) |
