They have a so called monopoly so there's no reason for the club to compete or update their website or social media. Pre tryout clinics coming up soon though!

For a top club, it is bizarre how bad it is. Hopefully they update it soon.

Other than the rosters, it never had anything on it??? Don’t disagree they should pretty it up a bit.

I find it very unfair to the players that do everything that Capital asks but they don’t seem to find it important to return the favor with even the smallest courtesies like posting a roster or commitment.

I am a Capital parent and this has been an issue for a few years. Nobody wants to speak up though. Hopefully they are watching this thread and will listen. They still reference the 2023 team on the site. Ridiculous and not in keeping with their peer clubs.

Not saying that it isn’t ridiculous when you consider how easy it is to update a website, but I imagine roster info (and someday commit info) will be able to be found from their team’s sports recruit page. I noticed many of the MD club have added their 28 teams already.

Yes, you can pull the roster data with a Simple IWLCA “team name” google query but I think the point is that it doesn’t look very professional when the site hasn’t been updated in 3 years and you are supposed to be the premier club in DC.

They are relishing the glory days of past years success. No need to update for the new teams that won’t fair as well.

The new teams will "fare" better than you will, as they are a group of very smart girls going to good schools.

When Hero’s and M&D recruiting catches up to Capital maybe Capital will change its ways.

There’s the stereotypical Nova parent to the party. Good luck, you all will need it.

And the “Capital vs the World” pot doesn’t stir without predictable first salvos (of average quality) from the likes of you, good sir.

So from following this thread. Capital 28 girls are terrible and will not get recruited but the girls that did not make either blue or orange are in better position to make a Div 1 team when they go to college. Got it.
