Trump as Jesus Truth Social

I grew up fairly religious. Now consider myself spiritual.

This is one time there should be no separation between church and state.

The guy is insane and unfit. He is dangerous. I'm hoping this is what it takes to have him removed from office.

I hope the pope comes out and says that. I can't fathom why the people behind him are not working to have him removed.

One of the most religious members of my family has been saying quite seriously since 2016 that Trump is the Antichrist. I laughed it off for a long time.

But if there were an Antichrist, what would they be doing differently?

I think it's a fair question. So much of his base is Christian MAGA. I hope they will finally see who he really is.

As for the religious family member who deemed him the antichrist, they may be on to something.

Trump is not the anti-Christ, called the Man of sin in the Bible.

In Daniel 11:37 we have a description:

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Trump regards the desire of women, so Trump is not the anti-Christ.

Yep. My son asked me about the Antichrist this afternoon, in connection with Trump's stupid Truth Social post. There's something making the rounds!

Then maybe he's the Abomination of Desolation? I'm only half joking.

What is the horned winged creature in the sky? What is the orb of light in his hand? Who is he healing if he's a doctor?

The post in which he threatened genocide in Iran was more alarming than this.

Does it change my view of Trump? I already thought he was evil. So, that didn’t change. But it added to my view that he must have dementia to be doing something like this that has the potential to alienate many people who might have voted for him. If anything it gives me more hope for the midterms.

The Pope’s response to Trump has been impressive and has made me like him even more. The cardinals chose well this time.

Agree. I find the photo ridiculous. I find the daily machinations of this administration and all the harm they are causing all around the world abhorrent.

What does that mean? Cognitive dissonance finally became too much and their head exploded?

the fact that this is what did it, but not all the human rights abuses and elective wars and THREATENING TO BOMB AN ENTIRE CIVILIZATION TO DUST had no impact is...disturbing.

MAGA are just completely broken people.

You forget Iran has called Israel a “cancerous tumor” that needs to be destroyed utterly.

You cannot reason with evil like that, any more than you could Hitler. The only solution is brute force because that is the only force Islam respects and understands.

Please, please don't say that the only people who like Trump's "I'm like Jesus" tweets include the small number of Jews who think it's great he's taking out Iran.

I agree with you completely. I'm not Catholic, but I have studied the Bible enough to know who stands with Jesus and his teachings and who doesn't.
