It has been electronic for some meets and I can’t find anything for this meet.

TIA

It's in the meet sheet. They check in before 5 tomorrow for 1000. The coach will do it.

Scratch deadline for 500 is 5 pm Saturday

But the 500 prelim is Saturday morning?

The positive check in/scratch deadline for the 500 free is Friday at 5:00 pm. All of the scratch/positive check in deadlines are in the meet announcement on page 4. Better to get the info from the source rather than randos on DCUM.

Am I missing it or is this meet not on Meet Mobile yet?

It's not yet. Meet is underway, though.

I don’t know why PAC was allowed to host this meet. This isn’t the November Open.

Hi NCAP hater! Historically NCAP and Machine have hosted the SC champs meets, maybe they are hosting LC champs instead this year. They are also charging admission with a cut of that going to the host team so I wonder if that was the incentive for the clubs that volunteered to host the SC champs meets. There are only 3 PAC swimmers at Open champs so there has to be some reason they decided to host.

PVS always has trouble getting teams to host these meets. They don't want to do it. Thank you for all teams that host.

They have issues getting hosts for the PVS Opens, not as much of an issue with the champs meets.

Other than the slight delay with meet mobile, everything ran smoothly with the 1000 tonight. The had all of the positive check in sheets out for the weekend other than the mile, which should be there tomorrow or by Sat morning.

NCAP and Machine also host the Turkey Claus and KLI champs meets at the end of the year.

Machine and NCAP stepped down because they were over the disfunction of PVS leadership, which is “lead” by the owner of PAC- Cherlynn Venit. Other clubs won’t step up for the champs because PVS put so much burden on clubs while having high reserves in the bank and continuing to raise prices on parents. With over $1M in reserves why are parents being charged admission when we pay a membership dues each year? Where is our money for membership going??? Hope others see that suddenly the GC runs others off and also now suddenly now “they” decide to charge admissions to parents with money going into the GC pocket.

These are club meets. Not PVS meets. No funding or support to these meets are provided by PVS.

These are all legit points. I hope everything runs smoothly this weekend, but I feel like it’s inevitable that it won’t.

I should clarify for my post above. By membership dues to don’t mean what we pay to our club. Of the $98 we pay to USA swimming, $30+ of that goes to PVS. PVS also charges a tax for every meet sanctioned in PVS. Host clubs pay a % of the meet entry fee we pay to PVS for any meet held in PVS. So again what is our membership benefit for these fees?
