McLean GA ID Sessions

OK. So because I'm nosy and love drama, I need to know what's going on with that McLean team. Tell all, please.

I think the mess will clear in a year or so. Every club has its ups and downs. MYS is having a down spell because of one team but it will be back once they straighten things out.

They need a change of leadership

Anonymous wrote:The short story is that the 2014GA team is beset by a coach that rents out the team to the team manager and favors one player who is mediocre, and an administration that does nothing about it, so the team’s best player (and nicest kid) is leaving for another club. The 2013s last year decamped en masse for another club. Drama at the 2011 and 2012 age groups. It is just so fitting for McLean, they’re just not used to reality catching up to them. Everything will be fine in time, sometimes you have to plunge the toilet but it goes back to working normally.

lol this is so funny

My thoughts exactly. It’s sad because the kid is probably fine, the parents are the ones that seem toxic.

Did they announce aspire coaches?

When did McLean move to GA? VDA is a national power? Things have changed.

The parents are incredible people, very dedicated to their kids and level-headed, they just want what is best for their dd. Toxic describes what they will be leaving behind. Everyone else on the team will soon follow unless the age group shift works its magic.

Anyone know anything about the 2013 Mclean Aspire coach? I think he's fairly new.

You seem super invested in this one player and family, but it isn’t you right? Sure

Unpossible!! My daughter is the best left footed 2014 in VA! Not to mention, she's second ranked with her right foot. We are considering moving to Maryland so she can be #1 with both.
