Venting- nanny share family are mess

I honestly can't imagine giving a second thought to providing food if needed to a toddler who is in my home and with my child nine hours a day. Its one egg and a banana and 3 crackers or something. GMAFB.

It sounds like OP is from another country. Are there countries with reputations for being stingy with food?

The other family sound so very inconsiderate!

Would it be possible for you to find another family to do your nannyshare with?

Why the shade on other countries? Plenty of Americans are holier than thou and stingy AF.

Just get a stroller blanket that ties to the stroller and covers them both.
How hard and expensive is an extra 1/2 sandwich and a couple, apple slices or whatever?

I did many nanny shares as the nanny and often bought the food myself. When the kids are young it’s so much easier if the kids are eating the same thing. Some parents would rotate who brought food. One would drop off a jar of spaghetti sauce and some pasta and snacks. Another would bring hot dogs annd Mac and cheese or whatever. Easy.

They want it to be see. Here by the other family. OP is a shamer

I think this is an excellent way to handle it.
