Why are the Hispanics using the Portuguese language as their team name? Just curious

Are you joking? Where Brazil is located? Last time they are part of South America. Seems you need to get out of the US a bit more.

Portuguese is spoken in Brazil. Not Spanish. Maybe you need to get out of the US more?

Brazil are Hispanic/latinos, what a dummy you are. Seems geography is not your forte. Brazil is part of America. Get it now? 🤣. I hope it clicks this time .

Brazilians are not Hispanic. Latino, yes, depending who you are talking to. Hispanic specifically refers to Spanish speakers. Amazing to be so patronizing yet still be wrong.

Hispanic refers to Spanish speakers. How ignorant are you? Thanks for the lesson in geography!

Listen, you're showing a very limited education and understanding of geography, history and ethnicities.

Why are you so comfortable being wrong and ignorant? It must be your peer group.

You can't be Portuguese in background and also Hispanic, since Hispanic is tied to Spanish

Nothing better than a bunch of white soccer Mom's debating the difference between Hispanic/Spanish/Portuguese/Latino and mix in a little Brazilian and America's in there. You folks are such comedic relief to the rest of us. Keep it up please.

This is why arguments on-line is usually a waste of time

Some joker is proudly and loudly in glorious ignorance knocking Brazilians for using Portuguese 😂🤣😆

Not my fight. But there is a difference between Latino and Hispanic. Portuguese is part of that….

The context of this is: Brazil is part of South America. And they are Latinos by definition. Therefore as LATINOS we can certainly use Brazilians names, they are part of us. Gotcha? I hope it click this time.

Plus Jogo Bonito, has to do with the style of play most of us Latinos love to play fútbol. That is the Jinga style which is part of our Brazilian Latinos. Gotcha x2?

They clearly said "Portuguese in background", which the Brazilians are as a nation. Hence them speaking Portuguese.

Saying Gulf of America doesn't change it from being Gulf of Mexico

Joga Bonito and CB Amigos are almost 100% Academy players. Sounds great you're blowing out your age group but is it really great? Maybe play up an age group or 2 then the advancement and win is definitely something to brag about.

Nah, going to win that cash money!

Joga was 1:1 in the semi finals and only won due to PKs at the end. Not really a blowout.
