He wrote that while he was waiting for her to get dressed for a party. She took a long time and thought he'd be mad but he presented her with the song.

Miranda Lambert when she was married to Blake Shelton. She would twirl her ring when she sang this live

Yes, this is the definitive answer for me. This performance is so intense!

Gotta love Mick Fleetwood jamming on the drums with a big smile on his face, having the time of his life, as Stevie and Lindsey stare each other down.

Michael Buble's biggest songs are all about his (current and former) romantic partners:

'Home' is about his first (non-famous) fiancee, a woman named Debbie

'You're Everything' is about Emily Blunt.

'Just Haven't Met You Yet' and 'I'll Never Not Love You' are both about his wife.

Stevie was super pissed because Lindsey had started dating a 28 year old woman. They had both been single and she thought they might get back together. She was 47 or 48. If you have been single over 40 you can imagine her anger.

Carly did not write the lyrics & she recorded it before she married James.

Anonymous wrote:"Ring of Fire" was written by June Carter about falling in love with Johnny Cash and her torment because she was married to someone else.
They were both married when they first met. After his divorce, he proposed to Carter several times before she accepted.
“Unconditional” was the word Cash often used to describe the love he and Carter had. She wrote many songs for him.

June wrote "Time and Time Again" for Johnny.

I wish my heart was stone cause you’re hard on flesh and bone
But even if my heart was stone I couldn’t stand that long
Cause time and time again you’re gone with the wind
And even when you’re here I know you’re making plans to go
You come back and I take you back but you like the shifting sand
And like the sand you shift right through my hands
Time and time again I got you time and time again

They stayed together for life and passed only four months apart from each other. He had this to say about her at her funeral:

“The spirit of June Carter overshadows me tonight with the love she had for me and the love I have for her,” he said. “We connect somewhere between here and Heaven. She came down for a short visit, I guess, from Heaven, to visit with me tonight to give me courage and inspiration, like she always has… I thank God for June Carter. I love her with all my heart."

Bleh- he was awful to his first wife and family.

He really was. OP asked to 'List songs that the singer or songwriter wrote about their spouse' and PP did that.

Johnny Cash's "I Walk the Line" is believed to have been written for his first wife, Vivian, promising his faithfulness. We know how that turned out.
