It might be easier to start a thread saying name songs that were not written about marriage.
Exaggerating a little but it’s hard to think of a rockstar who hasnt written love songs about their wives or ex-wives. One of my favorites is thank you by led zeppelin… One of the members wrote it for his wife and I’ve always thought the lyrics were so pretty. On the other end of the spectrum- The lead singer of Kings of Leon thinks he wrote the song sex on fire about his wife, the model lily Aldridge, but he admits he wrote it while high on painkillers after shoulder surgery. |
