Weekend Food Chores

Anonymous
Does anyone else find themselves needing to do different stores every weekend? I like Trader Joe’s for something, Whole Foods for meats and breads, and regular store for other items. I know I’m making my life harder but . . . I like what I like.

Yes! But for me it's based on what is on sale and which stores have a lower price. So I might go to Aldi for the bulk of my shopping trip, then swing by giant for something that is on a good sale.

Totally! Some stores have better meat, some a better bakery, some a better selection of international items. I used to hate when my parents did this - spent hours grocery shopping at multiple places when one store *could* have sufficed - but now I've turned into them

Well, DCUM is going to hate me for this, but at the top of the list is the dreaded:

Pasta Salad

I'm also making these today:

Yogurt Parfaits (plain skyr, frozen berries, hazelnuts)
Cheddar Chive Biscuits
Baked Apples w/ Cinnamon
