Holton asks its white students to attend its “Racial Justice Learning Center for White Students” at lunch. (Everyone else is invited to their respective affinity group at that time)
Are people seriously questioning whether Holton is all-in on anti-racism? |
“Asks”? Mmm hmm. |
Aren't they uber religious? Opus Dei uber? |
Obviously someone being a smart you-know-what. Oakcrest does not belong in this discussion and anyone in the know knows that. Saying this to save people who don’t know time. |
| Oh, so sad the latest fad in consultant grift is fading away. |
That’s an actual thing? |
The sad part is I can’t tell if this is a joke. |
| HA parent here. It’s very real. The school is proud of it. Ask admissions or anyone in leadership. It is part of their “white privilege” learning curriculum. |
| Holton also has a parent group called “Racial Justice Learning Space for White Families” |
Cringe. |
This sounds great. Shouldn’t all people want to learn? |
| Op is a troll |

I think NCS has an equally strong commitment to DEIB in the area of girls’ schools. It is affiliated with the Episcopal Church, which is also out front on such issues.

LOL. I'm old enough to have lived through MANY educational fads in America. This one is out the door as we speak |
Why? That’s part of US history. Most kids take an 8th grade trip to DC, but DC kids don’t need that trip. May as well visit Alabama. |
