Tokyo. OMG. The fun city. They have EVERYTHING. Like 11 cat islands, every animal cafe you can imagine incl a fox village.

Costa Rica. St. Lucia is a fun island because you can do more than just beach there. PR is like that as well.

In Europe - N France - through Normandy, Mont St. Michel, less Paris but go N and S through the countryside incl Aix.

I actually think there's a lot of offering in the States I have to say - and I've been to Bora Bora, W Europe, Asia, etc. I think our national parks are amazing out west. More west coast resorts that are based around them are more interesting than the E coast ones. I think it's less the country and more specific places that you can tap into that community to enjoy beats going to a famous destination. Our experience have really been highlighted by our accommodations and the people who we meet where we are based in if that makes sense? I tell you as someone who has done a lot of major cities - they are all similar in characteristics and offerings - museums, etc. It's specific cultural experiences you are able to find that makes that destination truly unique.

For me watching the Air show on N Ave Beach in Chicago in Aug is one of my fave memories along with Bora Bora Sheraton which let me tell you I never stayed in Sheratons but that one - OMG.

The hike in Jackson we took when we saw a family of deer is just as amazing as my 5 wk trek through India/Tibet years and years ago.

My trip to HK/Shanghai/Beijing/Taiwan in my early 30s was as awesome as backpacking through Italy before college.

I think UP MI is lovely. Reminds me of Positano. Lots of crowds, tightly packed, got the water and boats. The evening lights - beautiful places. I mean - every place has their own delights. How do you compare Sedona to St. Lucia - the pistons and the mountains are both awesome to see. And Costa Rica white water rafting was amazing but so was Snake River in Jackson.

I think you just go where you want to go and see as much as you can and enjoy it all

I love Milos island in Greece. It's not the most popular one so not over crowded but definitely gaining traction. There's a white-sand beach (forgot about the name but I think the locals refer to it as the 'moon beach' or something) on the north shore of the island that's absolutely gorgeous. Visit during off season (before May or after October) and you might be able to have the breath taking nature all to yourself

These 3 restaurants sound absolutely divine!
The restaurant in Ibiza sounds fabulous but yes a little more pricier than we would spend.
