So many things wrong with this.... This kid had a professed and widely known intertest in STEM. Allegedly, the kid was arrested because a teacher thought his project for engineering class "looked" like a bomb although the kid insisted it was not and his engineering teacher KNEW what the kid was making. Heck, they sell those electronic project kits in EVERY hobby shop and my kid is addicted to them - thing is my kid is White and probably would not be arrested. |
"It looks like a movie bomb to me" - so much Tex-ass in that statement. They take dumb to new heights. Can you imagine how absolutely idiotic a Texan officer must be? The fact that these clowns have the power to ruin lives is infuriating and frightening. |
No Country for Brown Boys |
What embarrassing ignorance. Just disgusting the stupidity of the adults. |
As far as I can tell, nobody even thought it was a bomb. Apparently you shouldn't mess with Texas because if you do, Texans will pee their pants. |
Absolutely sad ! Did u see the picture of the boy in cuffs, the look on his little face, I almost started crying. |
I'm shocked they had an engineering class. Is this a new thing? I would have loved to have taken engineering in school but it's not offered until college. |
The boy should have known better. |
My issue is that they are not apologizing or backing down on their stance. They completely mistreated him on every level. He's a kid who can't imagine why people think he would make a bomb or even pretend to make a bomb. They need to revoke the suspension and issue a full apology from school and police.
What message are they sending to young kids? |
Well, he is a boy. He is not really aware that there are many inbred imbeciles in Texas like you, resulting in very low IQ. |
Don't mess with Texas. |
Better than to make a clock for an engineering class? What should he have made, muffins? |
NP. Should have known better than to expect anything sane from racist goobers in Texas. |
It's really sad the teachers, our nation's educators, couldn't recognize a simple clock. My six year old makes these kinds of things with Snap Circuits..... |
As opposed to the teacher who knew what he was making and was OK with it? |
