Things that would make your life easier, but you continue NOT to do

Anonymous
1. Leaving a box of trash bags upstairs so every time I want to collect trash upstairs I don't have to go downstairs to get a trash bag

2. Making a list of things I need when I go to stores or even order online. It would save me time, money and unnecessary trips back to the same place because I forgot something the first time

3. Putting WD-40 on our bedroom/bathroom doors so they won't squeak.I think about doing this pretty much every day but haven't actually done it.

What about you?

I keep meaning to put a small box or bag in each kid's room
For outgrown clothes. What kind of bag or box would make the most sense?

Op, if you have a smart phone, apps like "wunderlist" makes your list issue crazy easy.

Meal planning

Hiring a housekeeper, even if just once or twice a month for deep cleans. Too cheap.

I keep staying up too late.

Are you me? I swear I was going to type this!

Spend 30 minutes before work preparing and planning for the day ahead. I would be so much more productive!

Make a cleaning schedule and stick to it.

Yup, I have Anylist but am sporadic about actually using it. I'm great at starting lists, just not actually finishing them. I think I can keep track of everything in my head. I can only blame myself. -OP

This.

Want to commit to one and then check back here in a week? We can give each other props for following through.

Plan meals for the week, so I don't find myself staring at the empty fridge at 5:00 everyday and then ordering takeout.

Sleep training baby and kicking 3 year old out of my bed!

I need to sleep train my baby, too. Her older sister being in elementary school complicates things, though. I figure she won't want to sleep with us forever....

Actually taking the food from the fridge and putting it in a lunch bag to take to work.
Instead of hitting the vending machine or eating the whole house when I get home.
