2. Making a list of things I need when I go to stores or even order online. It would save me time, money and unnecessary trips back to the same place because I forgot something the first time

3. Putting WD-40 on our bedroom/bathroom doors so they won't squeak.I think about doing this pretty much every day but haven't actually done it.

What about you?

Just leave extra bags on the bottom of the trash bin underneath the bag in use. In upstairs trash bins, you don't have to worry about liquids running out so these bags will stay clean and dry and you always have trash bags available.

Not hitting the snooze button so many times that the mornings are insanity.

For outgrown clothes. What kind of bag or box would make the most sense?

Op, if you have a smart phone, apps like "wunderlist" makes your list issue crazy easy.

Empty diaper case or Amazon box in the closet--or even just a paper bag!

Instacart bags are lovely for this purpose if you have used Instacart at all.

I use paper grocery bags. They stand upright and open so I can toss things in from a few feet away and because they are just grocery bags, when I want to give the clothes away, They are already in a container that the recipient can keep.

Using paper planner instead of Google calendar

Meal planing and exercise, also resolving two household issues by 1) replying to an email with estimates for a repair and 2) a formal letter re an injury.

Guess I just created a To Do List for today!! Thanks, DCUM.

Quit smoking. A "friend" brought me a pack after I found my mother, after her suicide. I wasn't a smoker at all, hadn't been since 2002. My son's godmother says I smoke now because I haven't found a way to otherwise get some alone time. She's encouraging exercise, which used to be my favorite pastime, as a replacement.

This, by far, is the dumbest thing I have ever done in my life. And, yes, it would make my life easier (and longer!!) if I quit.

What a complete dumbass I am.

Meal planning is number one for me. It's not hard, I'm just terrible at it.

Spending some time once a week to chop veggies, etc. to keep in the fridge. When I do it, it saves Sooo Much time later in the week. Then Sunday comes and I don't feel like it

Same thing with the garbage bags

Same thing with the store lists; I usually end up with what I don't need (I'm like a cat and endlessly distracted by something shiny) but don't get the one thing I went for

Buy two or three household cleaners and keep them in each bathroom instead of needing to go get the only one when there something I could quickly wipe down in 10 seconds.

I also need to reorganize my spice rack and baking cupboard so it won't take me 5 min to find the stuff I need

Carpooling, but I enjoy the time with my kids and I hate being in the house so I drive everywhere.
