Iran has been attacking Israel and the US and the Gulf States for decades through its proxy militias, terror groups, cyberattacks etc. "In response to being attacked" sounds like a "mom, he hit me back first" complaint. |
It's not that the US deliberately hits schools. It's that they don't care if they do. Why would they? Have they ever been held accountable for faulty targeting? No. The world gets barely more than a shrug. So why would they do painstaking quality checks on their intelligence if faulty targeting is no one's business? |
The foundation of your comment is that Iran has no right, none, to self-defense. |
Our national reaction to other nations fighting back against Western aggression has kinda been the irrefutable evidence supporting that foundation for a very LONG time. |
DP. No. YOU hate Israel. 99% of the world does not despise them. You know who IS despised? Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS. You need to wrap your head around that fact. |
Boo Hoo. Israel sucks more every single year. This survey was before the war crimes against Iran. And before the Epstein files are completely released. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2025/06/03/most-people-across-24-surveyed-countries-have-negative-views-of-israel-and-netanyahu/ The recent survey is not the first time Pew Research Center has asked about international views of Israel. We have asked about views of Israel before in some countries – including in the United States, where the share of adults with a negative view of Israel rose 11 percentage points between March 2022 and March 2025. In 10 other countries, we last asked this question in 2013. In seven of these countries, the share of adults with a negative view of Israel has increased significantly. In the United Kingdom, for example, 44% had an unfavorable view of Israel in 2013, compared with 61% now. (In Nigeria, both the share of adults with a negative view of Israel and the share with a positive view have increased since 2013, due to a decline in the share saying they don’t know.)

Since when does legitimate self defense include firing on random civilian vessels? Do you even listen to yourself or bother to think this stuff through before posting? |
Does Iran care? Does Russia? No. Have they ever even admitted wrongdoing or shown an ounce of remorse or regret? No. Yet those are the exact countries that people like you who hold up as your champions and ideals as you nod at each other while nattering on complaining about western colonialism, American global hegemony and so on. That's not whataboutism. That's confronting you on your hypocrisy and double standards. |
This. It amazes me the mental gymnastics people are doing to defend this. |
Oh, that is FILTHY rich coming from the “preemptive self-defense” crowd! Lol |
|
Wouldn't be surprised if this was done on purpose. Not sure their motivation but they DO love to murder innocent people, of this we can be sure.
Just check what US soldiers did in Iraq or in Mai Lai Vietnam for starters... |
No Gun Ri Massacre The No Gun Ri Massacre occurred during the Korean War from July 26 to 29, 1950, when U.S. soldiers opened fire on unarmed South Korean civilians seeking safety, killing hundreds. This horrific incident is considered a war crime due to the deliberate targeting of civilians, violating international humanitarian law. For decades, it was ignored, but survivor stories emerged in the late '90s, leading to an apology from the U.S. Army. |
They've said the strait is closed. They are firing on ships that continue to breech their front line. They are using the tools at their disposal trying to pressure the rest of the world to put a stop to the American and Israeli aggression. Your expectation seems to be that they remain entirely nonviolent and adhere to rules their enemy has made clear they will not be bound by. |
