I think you mean had the Afghan not assassinated her, she’d still be alive.

If Trump hadn't rescinded his and his family's legal status, he would not have been so desperate. Trump's actions have horrible consequences.

I thought he was granted asylum and in the process of getting a green card? That’s what BBC is reporting.

Same -- I thought the same thing. I'm not understanding what that PP is saying about Trump rescinding his status. Anyone have any citations on that PP?

+1. Trump will tar them all with the same brush.

Poor kid who never got the chance to live. Senseless tragedy is exactly what this is.

Accidents are tragedies.
Murder is murder.

In May, USCIS revoked Temporary Protected Status for Afghanistan:

3 days ago, it was reported that USCIS was reopening all previously approved asylum applicants:

He helped guard US forces at Kabul airport as thousands scrambled to escape Afghanistan before the Taliban took power, a former military commander who served alongside him told the BBC's Afghan Service. The father of five had been recruited to Unit 03 of the Kandahar Strike Force, nine years earlier.

His unit was known locally as Scorpion Forces, operating initially under the CIA but eventually for the Afghan intelligence department known as the National Directorate of Security.

Mr Lakanwal was a GPS tracker specialist, the former commander told the BBC. His whole unit was moved from Kandahar to Kabul five days before the Taliban entered the capital. They continued to protect the airport for another six days, before they too were airlifted out to the US.

This confirms he was on a black ops team at age 15. wtf is a 15 year-old doing on a CIA-run militia group?

Wait until you hear what the US did when they found out about people practicing Bacha Bazi and what our policies were regarding people who engaged in it.

Honestly this is all just so sad. Sounds like PTSD.

PTSD can rear its ugly head years later, and in this case with no VA or therapy or group support to turn to… especially, if it’s true he was commanding special forces and being in that environment for over a decade… not a good scenario. Also, I read somewhere he was deeply troubled about a close friend, also a spec ops commander, unable to leave. What specifically his motives were to murder and drive across the entire country for it - we can only speculate. Just horrific, all of it.

Oh, please. Just stop with the "radical left"

Trump has aligned himself with the worst leaders in the world, including MBS, Putin, Orban etc.

The radical left, just like Antifa is just BS buzzwords adopted by infuencers starting with Rush Limbaugh to poison American brains.

The left in the US are not aligned with Al Qaeda or the Taliban (who Trump invited to Camp David) and so on. Just stop with the nonsense.

So did Obama, Bernie, Clinton, Dubya, etc. Fail to see the point. Heck, Bernie even used to hot-tub with Putin in Russia when he was younger didnt he?

I think you mean if the US had not invaded Afghanistan, which caused Afghanis to have to escape to the US, she would still be alive.

True. Perpetual wars of the deepstate swampers.

Glad we finally have an anti-war president.

You say asylum but the article talks about refugees.

He didn’t have TPS, he was granted asylum which comes with a path to permanent citizenship.

That is such a ridiculous concept and widely abused now. It must be stopped.

Starting to wonder if this was a setup. A psyop or false flag.

Google Trends shows a weird spike in searches for the shooter's name in DC and Israel - just BEFORE the shooting.

People knew something was going to happen.

Now, this might seem like conspiracy theory territory, but is there anything that’s beyond this administration?

Don't most know the answer? The question from page 2 of this thread has been "was this planned?"
