I think you mean had the Afghan not assassinated her, she’d still be alive.

Rest in peace Sarah Beckstrom. She was 20 years old, what an absolutely senseless horrific tragedy.

Now, this might seem like conspiracy theory territory, but is there anything that’s beyond this administration?

I bet his wife reached out to the Intel Community handlers when he didn’t come home and was worried.

NYTs confirmed that he was a member of a CIA-controlled militia that did a lot of wet work in Afghanistan and hunting down Taliban & AQ leaders. They would conduct raids side by side with US Special Ops forces. He started working with US forces at age 14. Apparently a bunch of the Zero Unit soldiers were resettled in the Seattle area.

So our country, the United States of America, basically groomed and trained a child assassin.

Correct. He’s going to have a very quiet trial with zero media coverage.

Sometimes nothing speaks louder than something.

Can I just say how unbelievably cr*ppy DC is right now. If it is not DOGE firing us, it’s Trump taking over the Kennedy Center, or sending National Guard kids to menace kid’s parties in the park, and then the National Guard kids getting taken out by terrorists. F this timeline.

Yes. I’m so sorry for her family.

He helped guard US forces at Kabul airport as thousands scrambled to escape Afghanistan before the Taliban took power, a former military commander who served alongside him told the BBC's Afghan Service. The father of five had been recruited to Unit 03 of the Kandahar Strike Force, nine years earlier.

His unit was known locally as Scorpion Forces, operating initially under the CIA but eventually for the Afghan intelligence department known as the National Directorate of Security.

Mr Lakanwal was a GPS tracker specialist, the former commander told the BBC. His whole unit was moved from Kandahar to Kabul five days before the Taliban entered the capital. They continued to protect the airport for another six days, before they too were airlifted out to the US.

This confirms he was on a black ops team at age 15. wtf is a 15 year-old doing on a CIA-run militia group?

Wait until you hear what the US did when they found out about people practicing Bacha Bazi and what our policies were regarding people who engaged in it.

Honestly this is all just so sad. Sounds like PTSD.

No, it was not PTSD. More likely the shooter was upset that Trump rescinded the promise made by the US to take care of him and his family for helping US troops for more than a decade.

If Trump hadn't rescinded his and his family's legal status, he would not have been so desperate. Trump's actions have horrible consequences.

Which NG menaced your kids? They’ve all been kind to me and my kids. I sure hope you’re not demonizing people with no basis.

I thought he was granted asylum and in the process of getting a green card? That’s what BBC is reporting.
