Amy Robach and TJ Holmes relationship

Trust is important on a wholesome morning news program targeting middle America. They both show themselves to be highly untrustworthy. If you’re capable of cheating on a spouse, you are capable of other immoral behavior and you can’t be trusted. Maybe they can go get a job at TMZ or Extra.

As it has come out he had 3 affairs with ABC staffers, and several other “inappropriate moments” with other ABC staffers, it’s way too much a risk to keep him there. It’s been a huge distraction as well. Amy tied herself up with this creep (she’s gross too) and is now screwed at ABC. She could have thrown him under the bus with his track record but since she’s been gloating and smug and self-righteous about the cheating that is a hard sell.

Disney/ABC will can them, but some other 3rd rate entertainment news or other network will pick them up for the salaciousness of it or it’s podcast world and book deals for them.

I don’t think they are likable anymore to a lot of people and possibly their conduct bothered coworkers. Both spouses seem great but on the other hand this is no one’s business. I just do not care. Maybe the mistake is they were flaunting it by showing up to work together after news was out. I am sure the network is evaluating if they are too toxic now. Maybe they should just put them on separate shows or different hours of GMA? I get that they can’t be the story when they are covering serious news.

+1 and the gloating, laughing and smugness about their immoral behavior are repulsive and off putting

This. Their behavior was terrible and incredibly immature. They acted like cool kids with affluenza not grownups.

ABC has said they didn’t violate any company policy. If they decided to can him, they will definitely have to buy him out. Also agree he’ll end up on TMZX or Extra. He’s good looking and in TV Prime. I’m afraid Amy is likely done. Maybe Fox News?

Not sure. More dirt and more women coming out. Likely a case can be made to not pay full amount. They were “inappropriate” moments. ABC stated that when they thought it was 1 affair and the cheaters insisted it was after they already separated.

There are “conduct” and actions befitting the values written in contracts I read

I wonder if the author of the WaPo op-ed feels dumb with all this coming out. I read the op Ed and thought “I bet there’s more to this story!” These workplace romances among high level people almost always involve a lot of drama and general disruption to the workplace. And often involve a charismatic narcissist that is a serial womanizer. I’m guessing this was not news to his wife and she was building her own life apart from his nonsense. Might have been more of a shock to Andrew.

I wonder if TJ’s wife was pulling the plug on this, which prompted her to think that they were going to have some happily ever after together. I’ve seen that before…but if the guy’s wife never finds out, it fizzles out.

The optics are repulsive but I'm actually just as troubled by it apparently being an open secret at GMA/ABC that this guy was a studio predator? After me too? After Fox cutting a $30M check to one of O'Reilly's targets? After Matt Lauer? In addition to these two bozos, a handful of GMA/ABC management need to be sacked too.

I think they both were cheating on their respective spouses by having an affair.

They both wanted it to appear that they “coincidentally” separated from their spouses at around the same time - then after they were both single they somehow magically discovered love between them.

What a joke!
I am sure they both started their affair first, then each left their marriage yet pretended they did nothing at all wrong.

ABC made the right call by keeping them off the air.
This change should be permanent.

And Amy should consider the type of man she is with now.
Why does she want to date a man who previously cheated on his wife?
How does she not know that he will cheat on her too??!

She will lose her professional career + reputation all on this man.
😠

She’s likely a cheater. The only ones that are okay with this cheat.

Everyone at work knew they had been banging for over a year + and have said as much. The wife caught him. It’s why she started separation/divorce in August and since they were all great friends, Andrew found out. She was having him followed because they were attempting to reconcile but she had her suspicions. She thought it was the woman he had a prior affair with, but shocked that it turned out to be her “friend”.

TJ had 3 different affairs with ABC staffers. The third has remained anonymous for now and he had several “inappropriate moments” with other staffers.

These two are narcissists that thought they were untouchable. What is really sick is TJ and the other staffer came to Amy to discuss their affair and she was advising them!! And then took up with TJ herself a few years later. Unbelievable. They all rode him. Very incestuous. It’s like they were competing TJ be his favorite. Amy won a real prize

^ Amy’s a prior cheater too. She, of course, thinks he will be true to her because she’s so much better than all the others he cheated on. BARF

Balancing the “we’ll get called racist” so we will give him benefit of the doubt most likely.
