How can I lose 20 pounds in 2 months? BMI is 30

Anonymous
I'd like to lose 20 lbs in the next two months. Am looking for advice on the best way to do this. I'm 8 mos PP, have lost 50 pounds since delivery (gained a lot during pregnancy) but the weight loss all occurred during the first 4 months post partum. I haven't lost anything in 4 months. I'm not breastfeeding.

Any advice on what to eat? I tend to eat very healthfully during the week, and then gain back all of my losses during the weekend. I would love any advice on how to stop that cycle and how to stick to eating well on the weekend. I've been having a very, very hard time with it. I don't exercise much and don't currently plan on it. I walk when I can and weight lift 2x a week, and that will be it for me right now. I'm 39 and would like to accomplish this with dietary/food changes.

Thanks.

If you are serious, weight watchers or myfitnesspal will get you to 12-15 lbs in two months. Nothing healthy will do 20 in 2 months, so if you chose that route, be prepared to gain it all back and ruin your metabolism.

I lost 30 lbs in 3 months on Weight Watchers. It's possible. I lost 12 lbs in the first three weeks.

You might need the discipline of a daily weigh in. It's how I stopped gaining weight on the weekends. Also, plan and calculate your dinner in the morning before you eat breakfast (or the night before), so you know what you are working with all day.
