Give us more OP. Where is this going? What's the value of the home? you selling soon? Kids? Pets? |
op here home value 369, not selling just purchased. Have kids that run around like crazy, I do not want carpet on the main. No pets yet but who knows. I am on a tight budget. I want the wood look like the show on hgtv flip or flop, thanks |
I like light, so my preference is the maple, but I have no idea what your home looks like (paint, furniture, cabinets) so I can't say for you. |
Above poster here. The Toasted Spalted Maple is what I like. |
I like the 2nd or 3rd. Bonus that they're both wood and not laminate.
Hate the super light and I hate the high gloss. High gloss is more likely to scratch more too. |
Don't do laminate. It's easy but it won't hold it's value, and it'll look cheap. you may as well bit the bullet and just do linoleum squares. I like the wood or bamboo if I had to choose from these - have you looked at the bamboo that's stained darker?
It's kid durable and easy on the pocket as well as the environment and i think it'll hold its value better than any you've shown: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Decorators-Collection-Hand-Scraped-Strand-Woven-Walnut-3-8-in-x-4-9-in-x-72-7-8-in-Length-Click-Lock-Bamboo-Flooring-29-86-sq-ft-case-HL272H/205124732 |
