| Everybody at my house is in bed. Children's Hospital just called my house with an automated service to remind us of an appt for next week. Seriously, you think it's okay to call when even when telemarketers can't? You think parents of small children routinely stay up late? Rant over. I'm just kind of boggled by how stupid this is. |
Yes. They can call. They have a business relationship with you. |
| ehhh so not bothered by that |
| Most parents with small children do stay up late, not that after 9pm is late to adults. Lots of stuff needs to get done after the kids go to bed. |
| It's a robocall. Calm down. |
|
I stay up quite late working, but on days when I don't work, not in bed by 9. That's not late.
It's an odd time to call, but not too late. |
|
Yes, that is stupid.
I would complain to them directly. They shouldn't be calling after 8PM in my opinion. |
| Who the hell uses landlines? Boggles my mind. |
| Late? It's 9. They weren't calling your children, they were calling you. |
| I would be super annoyed. |
| Turn your ringers off after bedtime. |
+1 You can't assume that everyone believes that 9 pm is too late for an automated call. |
| You live a very boring and self-centered life. |
Magic jack is cheap and I want phones around to call 911. Our cell service sucks in the house. |
| You sound insufferable. |
