Best place for gender selection with IVF?

Just found out Shady Grove won't do gender selection with IVF when the problem is not gender-specific. Will be doing PGD/PGS with IVF and gender selection. Suggestions on the best places and doctors for that? Thanks

Not sure if CFA will let you gender-select, but they did tell me the gender of my embryos when I had to do PGD for other reasons. The normals were all the same gender, so I couldn't gender-select if I wanted to.

I just read the other threads and they got really crazy so maybe a sane discussion of gender selection is in order. If you are paying Reprogenetics or Ivigen for the PGS then I think you have a right to know all information available from that test and then do with it as you please.

Yes, but the company will not override the clinic's orders. Ivigen told us they would be happy to release the information as long as my doctor agreed. My clinic won't reveal gender unless medically necessary. If gender selection is important then the OP should choose a clinic that allows it.

You can absolutely find out the gender - you can ask your doctor to sign off on it and the PGS data can be sent to you. You paid for it out of pocket, it's yours to know. SGF does this. What some clinics don't do however, (including SGF) is act on this info to allow you to choose which gender embryos to transfer. So you'll need a non-SG provider to do your FET if you decide you want to gender balance.
